I have always loved Dr. Seuss. I love the rhyme, the cute characters, and the utter silliness, though I didn't recognize the message in many of his stories until I was older. My personal favorite has always been How The Grinch Stole Christmas, while my husband's favorite is The Lorax.
My daughter used to love for us to read Dr. Seuss stories to her, one of her favorites was Yertle the Turtle, but she would also frequently request that my husband read Oh, Say Can You Say to her just because she knew he hated it because he had a really hard time with the tongue-twisters!
Some of my other favorites are The Big Brag, There's a Wocket In My Pocket, Green Eggs And Ham, and Because A Little Bug Went Ka-Choo! (under the pen name "Rosetta Stone"), but I like them all.
